Outrageous Fortune was a New Zealand crime family comedy-drama television series that followed the lives of the career criminal West family after matriarch Cheryl West decided for the family to go straight and abide by the law. It was created by James Griffin and Rachel Lang and produced by South Pacific Pictures for TV3. Broadcast from July 12, 2005 to November 9, 2010, it ran for six series consisting of 107 episodes.
Starting in 2015, TV3 aired a prequel titled Westside which chronicled the life of the West family in the 1970's and 80's.
