Pierre Beasley is a New Zealand actor who portrays a young Hayden Peters in series three of Westside.
Beasley studied drama at Rangitoto College and following this, wanted to pursue a career in the performing arts.[1]

In 2015, Pierre participated in The X Factor New Zealand with his band Stuss, where he played bass. The band made it to the top 12 and performed at Off Beats Music Festival.
Pierre currently plays keyboard in the Indie Hip-Pop band Balu Brigada with his two brothers Henry and Charles and their close friend Guy Harrison. The band describes that it "cross-breeds the high energy of alt-rock with hip hop beats and pop hooks to birth an eccentric amalgamation of their favourite genres."[2]
The band has released several singles on iTunes and Spotify, with accompanying music videos on YouTube. They will release their debut EP in August 2017. It will be followed by a concert tour across New Zealand.[3]
